Archery Ascension runs a weekly playgroup for children kinder age and under.
The purpose of playgroup is to provide a safe and nurturing environment that builds curiosity, empathy, love for our deen, animals and the outdoors. We have also designed the lessons to incorporate some of the key skills children need to enter into early schooling years.
The playgroup alternates location between Archery Ascension and IEWAD masjid.
The session is broken up into:
- Circle time where we recite surahs, duas, read stories and introduce the theme of the day.
-Activity time: where they do the set activity of the day
-Discovery time: where children can choose and freely play in the set up stations.
